Exciting new shop coming March 2022 to Edinburgh City Centre.
The Broughton Market is opening on the site of Crombies of Edinburgh on Broughton street. The shop will include a Crombies butchery counter but will stock a large range of daily convenience items including Food2Go, fresh fruit & veg, milk, cheese, alcoholic beverages, and ready-to-cook meals.
We require part-time and full-time staff to accommodate our 7-day opening. Potential applicants would benefit from having previous experience in this area however the right personality is more important, as full training will be given. There is a range of shifts available.
Duties may include restocking, till operation, or even some light food preparation, but most importantly should provide excellent friendly customer service throughout the store. The ability to converse with customers is paramount along with the ability to work under pressure and have a level head.
For the correct applicant, we offer:-
A competitive starting wage of £10.30 p/h for full-time (40 hours) and £11 p/h for part-time (20-25hrs).
5 weeks paid leave plus statutory holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Easter Monday.
A discount of 20% for yourself and your immediate family on purchases instore up to a limit of £250 per week.
Comfort breaks and free drinks on breaks.
A uniform is supplied for summer and winter.
In principle 2 days off in a row each week.
After 26 weeks and passing probation, an interest-free loan of up to £2000 is available for vital purchases/emergencies with repayment taken directly from your wages over an agreed period.
Many of the existing team at Crombies of Edinburgh will move over to the new Broughton Market so you will be joining a skilled team with plenty of knowledge and a good welcome feel.
